Okay look I know this guy has some skill fielding but why is he so terrible at batting. Take tonight for instance. He had 3 strikeouts, no hits, and 5 guys left on base. He is batting .162 which is far from decent. He might have good fielding but I am pretty sure we could find a replacement for his poor hitting. He has 0 errors so far but I mean he just ruins our scoring chances. We get bases loaded with one out and he grounds into a double play. Its pathetic.

Sexson is a notorius slow starter, sure to start hitting HR in bunches at some point, but .162 is ridiculous even for him.
He's a classic 'swing hard in case you hit it' guy, but his contact ability really seems to be declining with age ...

If Richie can get on a hot streak, he is going to do just fine.
