I got a little hockey and baseball news today.
Remember yesterday when I wrote the big news in the NHL this week so far was Hendrik Zetterberg being named the captain of the Detroit Red Wings. Well guess what. New Jersey did one better.
The Devils just re-signed Travis Zajac to a eight-year, $46 million contract extension.
The St. Louis Blue signed general manager, Doug Armstrong to a five-year contract extension.
Now to baseball.
Veteran pitcher, Vicente Padilla has signed a $3.25 million contract to play with Japan's Softbank Hawks.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have reportedly signed Jesus Flores to a Minor League contract.
