Today, they placed Tim Connolly on waivers. I not seeing much improvement in this team at all. I watched the Top Prospects game last night. Team Orr shut out Team Cherry 3-0. I got a quite a few baseball notes for you. Boston has been busy. First they signed Mike Napoli to a one-year, $5 million contract. They then signed Jarrod Saltalamacchia to a one-year contract. Seattle has acquired Michael Morse from Washington in a three way deal. John Jaso was sent to Oakland. Oakland then sent A.J. Cole and Blake Treinen to Washington to complete the deal. Texas have signed Matt Harrison to a five-year, $55 million contract. Milwaukee has signed Carlos Gomez to a one-year contract. Just in. The New York Yankees have signed pitcher Joba Chamberlain to a one-year, non-guaranteed contract Finally, there is a three way tie at the Humana Challenge between Roberto Castro, Jason Kokrak, and James Hahn (-9) after one round.
