05:26 PM ET 01.18 | Last season I predicted the finals matchup three months before they took place. This year I will make the prediction six months before they begin because we are not in a lockout mini-season. I see the Miami Heat taking on the..... well it really doesn't matter who they play because their going to win the finals again this year. For the sake of making a prediction, I will say OKC will return to the finals again and fall short one more time. On paper, the LA Lakers or LA clippers should make the finals. However, the western conference is so deep that any team making the playoffs could knock off either of the teams from LA. If the lakers end up with the 8th seed, we would see the western conference finals take place in the first round against the thunder? I am losing interest in the NBA if things like this continue to happen.
