I thought that the Pheonix Suns actually were a contender in the West but with this trade with Shaq they brought in a big guy that cannot and will not play defence and doesn't fit their style of play. They also lost Shawn Marion who fit into their run-and-gun style perfectly and a decent point guard that played behind two better point guards. And in exchange they got a beat up old center that can't really do anything as we've seen in during the past two years. The only thing he does consistently anymore is get injured. He hasn't has a 30,30!, point game since before the playoffs last year.

And anyone who knows sports and is up to date with them knows full well that Pheonix only made this trade because the Lakers made that steal for Pau Gasol and are probably the best in the West when we get Andrew Bynum back. Pheonix also knows that when the time comes that LA does get Andrew Bynum back they won't have a chance at playing with us and they have some dellusion that Shaq will help them. Not going to happen.

Pheonix made a stupid trade but , I'm saying this only because Miami is doing so bad, got the better end in the long run. Because DWade will opt out of his contract and go to Chicago and Marion will opt out and go to cooler weather.
