After being trounced by Anaheim 7-3 on Saturday, the Vancouver Canucks looked as if they were going to get their first win last night against the Edmonton Oilers. They led the Oilers 2-0 for two periods. Unfortunately, the Oilers tied it up at 2-2 in the third period. Edmonton would eventually win it in shoot-out 3-2, giving the Canucks a 0-2 record.
Buffalo also had a comeback victory, beating Philadelphia 5-2.
Pittsburgh handled the New York Rangers by winning 6-3.
In baseball, Boston has reportedly signed Craig Breslow to a multiyear contract.
Brian Gay won the Humana Challenge in a sudden death play off.
Oh, I should mention, San Francisco will face Baltimore in the Superbowl.
