This is not going to be one of my best blogs, but Ray Rice has proved this is not just a passing league. Look at teams with no running game, are they in the Super Bowl? Nope. Look at Ind,  Cin, Denver, New England, Green Bay, Atlanta, even though Michael Turner  had more than a 1000 yards  this season they still ranked 29th in rushing in the NFL. Green Bays Runing game had talented players but too inconsistent. Inds running game is still a joke.New Englands running game is non exsistant, Denver had to many injuries at that posistion. The point is you have to have a balanced attack and a punt returner who can score at least 4 tds per season and a kicker who can score at 55yrds consistently. Rice and Kappernick and Gore have proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the running game is still needed and so are special teams, heck even in the CFL they have rushers who put up over 1000yrds per season in a league with only 2 downs to score 10 yrds and a 110 yrd field. So the point is you have to running game to make the Super Bowl but it also has to be balanced attack
