Red Auerbach By @CJ_H_12

I just finished reading Bill Simmons Book of Basketball. The book brought up an interesting question: If we had to assemble the greatest team ever, who would we chose to be on the team. You have to take into account the players ability and leadership. The most important thing to remember is, how well the player will get along with the other players. If they can't get along, there's no way the team can succeed. Here are the main principles in deciding which players from history you would chose to play:

  • 1. All the players understand how to get along.
  • 2. All the players understand how important it is to get along.
  • 3. All the players know how to win.
  • 4. All the players know the secret (If you don't know what the secret is, go here: http://pojoaquenews.com/featured/the-secret-of-basketball/)
  • 5. All the players are focused on winning and winning only.
  • 6. All players have a great basketball IQ.

The main principles when it comes to athletic ability, which will also help me choose players are here:

  • 1. Can they play defense?
  • 2. Can they score?
  • 3. Are they strong?
  • 4. Are they quick/fast?
  • 5. Can they shoot?
  • 6. Can they dribble?
  • 7. Can they play well in the clutch?
  • 8. Do they hustle?
  • 9. Can they pass?

I will now list my 12 man team with the year next to each player. Feel free to comment and follow me on twitter @CJ_H_12.
