Completely Random Thoughts | buck-i-corner

My brain is all over the place and it's all because I'm procrastinating doing my homework...

- I LOVE the Reebok/Dolphins commercial that runs on almost every page.

- Even though I'm glad the Giants won, I still detest Eli Manning.

- Ancient Greek is not NEARLY as easy to learn as I thought it would be. I'm conjugating NOUNS. Wha-HUH? Every other language I've ever studied conjugates verbs. And there are a billion bloody accents to deal with... (And I took this class for "fun"... what the hell was I thinking?!)

- I'm never gonna finish my thesis...

- Even without Terrell Pryor, I'm pleased about the OSU recruiting class and very excited about next year. If we get him, it'll just be the proverbial icing on the cake.

- I've come to the conclusion that I'm a little too much like "da Bears" guys for comfort. I've been trying to follow basketball. Honestly, I have. I check the scores; I even watch bits and pieces of some of the games, but I can flip channels and not care that I've missed stuff. Contrast that with football season... Channels move only from one football game to another. I hold it until halftime and then RUN to the bathroom. People won't even call me during games in the fall, mostly because they get tired of immediately getting my voicemail or they know AT BEST they'll get a smarta$$ remark if I actually do pick up...

Gotta get back to the homework... ::SIGH::

It is difficult. I do wish I had spent more time having fun as an undergrad instead of working so hard on two degrees I no longer use (my time management skills weren't as good back then), but honestly, I really don't regret much.

And not to freak you out, but college is even harder the second time around, especially when you've been away from it for awhile and you''re going part time/working full time...

Enjoy it now-- it is one of the greatest times in your life. :)
