Super Bowl Sunday! Three simple little words that pretty much say it all. The Super Bowl has been the greatest single sporting event known to Americans since I can remember. Regardless of fanhood everybody that follows the sport and even those that for some reason only watch this one game can't deny the spirit and energy that one feels on this special day. Old or young, male or female, hardcore or curious fan, it is on! I myself love the game, love to eat and anyone that knows me knows that I love my drink, beer mostly. The only way you can escape this game is by......is by......Damn, how do you escape it!?

As a proud American I say that it's our patriotic duty to watch this game even if your just watching the commercials. One, you have the most popular sport in our country on display on it's greatest stage on the greatest day, the perfect storm! Second, unless your a vegan and abstain from alcohol it's the greatest excuse to take in all of the meat, cheese, baked goods, liquor and beer that you can possibly ingest. I know, I know most of the population of America has to show up to work the next morning, so **** it! Most people do not show up to begin with while many others show up late and if you happen to show up just see it as easy money when you realize you showed up on the slowest day of the year! God I love America! When will our government realize that we need to make the Super Bowl a holiday and observe it the Monday after?

"Black" or "Green Monday" whatever you choose to call it, the "Green" does not mean money. I have read that as much of 30% of the working force in this country calls in sick to work the following day and just as much arrives late. Why even bother showing up to the office or opening up a retail store, your gonna get just as much action as Manti Te'o off of the phone. I am sorry but our government must do something to observe a day like "Super Bowl Sunday". It's a day that is has been written into our country's DNA and sewn on America's fabric.

Well I hope you all enjoy "Super Bowl Sunday" and that you all do it safe and sound. It is a great and fun day and I didn't even talk about the gambling. That truly is another story, if you know what I mean. Later.
