For the most part I have tried to still enjoy baseball with all the steriod talk going on but enough is enough.  Since this Clemens case has came to the fore front of baseball news it has me wondering if I can ever enjoy America's past time again.  I mean the steriod talk has been public for some time now but it has become a real media problem.  If we are to the point now where trainers are having to blackmail their athletes; we as a society have went to far.  I do not want to mention any names here but everybody knows who i am reffering to.  This has gone to far and I believe that baseball is now what we can call lost!  I have gave it my all to just ignore the steriod scandals when they come on ESPN or other sports channels but with the recent Clemens case it is just over the limit to the extent that people are taking this too far.  Who is to blame?  I would have to say Bud Selig and for the most part he is the one that gave permission for the investigations to take place.  He is also the one that gave Mr. Mitchell permission to do the stupid Mitchell report.  We all were not born yesterday and for the most part everybody understands what has takin place in baseball as far as steriods go.  So why do people feel it is necessary that others have to pay for using steriods and ruin baseball's reputation.  You know the reputation that our god fathers have created for us!  In my eyes I feel that what has been done in the past needs to stay in the past if it involves ruinning the wonderful game of baseball.  Baseball is now heavily damaged do to this.  The league should of just implemented rules that penalize those who still use sterios, like they did, and then leave the steriod issue alone.  Instead we have a mess and what this means is that the future of baseball does not look bright.
