Written during the power outage at the start of the third quarter.

Great call by John Harbaugh on that fake punt deep in San Fran territory in the second quarter.

Sure, it failed to gain a first down. But it succeeded at telling the entire Ravens team that the coaching staff believes in them, has faith in them and is trying its hardest to win the game. Harbaugh said to his defence, "I know you can stop them". He said to his special teams: "I believe you can make plays." And he said to his offence:"You've proven to me you can move the ball."

I said it was a great call when he called it. I said it was a great call when it failed to pick up the first down. I said it was a great call when the Ravens' D turned around and shut the Niners down for a three and out.

I don't think you'll see Baltimore let their foot off the gas pedal when the lights come on. If San Francisco is going to win this game, they're going to have to do something really special.
