Hendrik Sedin became the Vancouver Canucks all-time scoring leader in the second period in last night's game against Dallas, scoring the Canuck's third goal in a 4-3 loss. The game was interrupted for a good five minutes as the Canucks fans saluted Sedin with a standing ovation. It was one heck of a site to see. Sedin saluted the crowd back by raising his stick in the air. Congratulations Hendrik!
Unfortunately for Dallas, despite the win, their goalie, Kari Lehtonen sustained a lower-body injury during the game.
The other game I watched was the Boston/Buffalo. The Sabres came back and won 4-2.
Only one baseball note. Baltamore have signed Jair Jurrjens to a Minor League contract.
John Rollins, Sang-Moon Bae, and Fredrik Jacobson are tied (-9) for the lead in the third round of the Northern Trust Open.
