03:26 PM ET  02.18 | I have some sad news from the basketball world. Former Los Angeles Lakers owner, Jerry Buss has died at the age of 80. R.I.P. Jerry. I watched two hockey games yesterday. Pittsburgh defeated Buffalo 3-2 and Boston beat Winnipeg also by a score of 3-2. Here are the NHL Three Stars of the week. John Tarvares, Viktor Fasth, and Jiri Tlusty. Now to baseball. Pittsburgh has extended manger, Clint Hurdle's contract for one more year. Milwaukee's Mat Gamel, who was going to fill the void after the Brewers lost Corey Hart due to injury, re-injured his knee during workouts on Saturday and will not play in 2013. Jeff Merrick won the Northern Trust Open in a sudden death play-off.
