Is Kyle Busch in danger of joining Dan Marino, Carl Malone or Ted Williams in the hall of fame of non championship winners, those gentleman were great athletes in their respective sports but never won a Championship, yes folks no Superbowl, NBA championship or World Series.

Kyle Busch appears to be headed in the same direction as those hall of fame players. Kyle is a great driver, a multiple series winner, but somehow when it comes to the chase his team fails miserably.

The 2012 chase seen Kyle Busch give his best performance ever with eight top 10 finishes, of course all for not because he wasn't eligible for the championship.

Throughout the last few years the NASCAR media have criticized Kyle for being immature, there was a constant chatter about how he needed to grow up if he wanted to become a NASCAR champion.

The 2012 season brought us a married and less fun Kyle Busch (from a fans point of view) but of course that didn't help, once again there was no championship for Mr. Busch.

Even though he is only in his late twenties you need to remember he is going into his ninth season as a full time cup driver, I believe is fair to ask when all that potential is going to develop into a Sprint cup championship.

So what is the problem, the maturity theory no longer holds water, the last few years we have see a very adult Kyle Busch, with a few exception we can all agree that Kyle has grown up since he got married.

The obvious fault has to be with the reliability of their cars, the No. 18 Toyota had terrible luck last year. The 2012 season brought to mind Murphy's law "whatever can happen will happen" AND IT DID.

Is this the year Kyle Busch has to put up or shut up?

When will the media and fan chatter go from " got unlimited potential" to " what a disappointment" ? This might be the right time for Kyle Busch to step up to the plate and win a cup championship, time might be running out.

As always this is just a fans opinion and from what I understand everybody has one and I thankful for that.

Enough said.

Forget the "put up" part and you nailed it.

Yea, I'm with the Shut Up option as well.

You'll have to agree that Kyle has had bad luck the last few years.....but he is a great driver...
