Ok a lot is being made of the excessive celebration that Nail Yakupov performed the other night against the Kings. I for one would love to see someone in skates do the Ray Lewis dance in front of a goalie each time he scores. But then we would have to wait for the ice crew to come out with their water bottles and shovels ( sorry guys these are not the ice girls ) So with that said. Does the NHL now have to deal with celebrations? Here is a thought send a damn memo to the teams telling them to get a hold of their players. Have the ref's earn their pay and actually speak with the coaches before the games of known offenders. That's it! No more discussion! And if you ever pretend to use your stick as a deadly weapon YOU GET YOUR A*! BEAT!
