I'm not 100 % sure, but I think the first NHL coach, for this season, was fired today. After a 2-1 loss to Winnipeg last night, a record of 6-10-1, long time Sabres coach, Lindy Ruff was relieved of his coaching duties.
My Leafs lost to Steven Stamkos and the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-2 last night.
Due to his good start in net, Anaheim have extended Viktor Fasth's contract to two more years. Fasth was named the second star of the week very recently.
Now to baseball.
Boston has acquired Mike Carp from Seattle in exchange for cash and a player to be named later.
