What a game between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh last night, especially in the third period. The Flyers went up 5-3 earlier in the period. With less than ten minutes to go in regulation, the Penguins tied it up at five. With just 1:31 to go in the period, Jakub Voracek scored to complete hat trick. Pittsburgh tried to tie it with the extra attacker, but Philadelphia was able to hang on to the one goal lead and win 6-5.
Winnipeg's Zach Redmond underwent surgery today after getting cut with a skate earlier in practice.
Chicago's Marian Hossa was back at practice today and hopes to play tomorrow night when the Blackhawks faces San Jose.
