The Lakers playoff chances are going to be looked at carefully by the organization. The time for the all-star additions to the team to familiarize and mesh with their new team should be over. (We can only hope).
With the recent death of their beloved owner (Dr. Jerry Buss), can the Lakers jump start the second half of the season to salvage at least the 7th or 8th playoff spot?

Barely make it for the 8th position, and get killed in the first round by the Spurs or Thunder.
