11:38 PM ET 02.21 | For The Basketball Mind Freeze being a Lakers fan for forty two years, the passing of Dr. Jerry Buss is 30 years of Lakers history never to be forgotten. My reflections on the passing of Jerry Buss are memories of my dad passing due to cancer and my sisters at bedside. Words can???t explain those feelings. Only the experience can. Dr Buss Being that extended family member we all loved is walking through that door to eternity, and his influence will be felt for the rest of our lives. So Dr. Jerry Buss Start your journey and if I can relate something that my dad said before he passed it would be this most appropriate phrase in honor to Dr Buss. I'm going to take my nap now but I'll see you in the morning.
