07:19 PM ET 03.01 | Well, my Leafs nearly blew it last night. On a night, which was the Nazem Kadri show, almost ended in disaster for the Leafs. Kadri got his first NHL hat-trick in last night and helped the Leafs to a 4-2 lead against the New York Islanders going into the third period. Unfortunately, the Islanders scored twice in the period to pushed the game into overtime where Leaf's captain, Dion Phaneuf scored the winner. I got a lot of hockey news for you today. Columbus has recalled Dalton Prout after John Moore got hurt in practice today. Vancouver have claimed Tom Sestito off waivers from Philadelphia and sent Andrew Ebbett to the minors. Calgary has recalled Brian McGrattan and sent Akim Aliu to the minors. Here is your three stars for February. 1. Steven Stamkos - Tampa Bay, 2. Sidney Crosby - Pittsburgh, 3. Ray Emery - Chicago.
