I you are in your fifties or sixties you may remember that guy, you know the three sport hero, the guy dating the hot cheerleader, the boy every father and mother wanted.

Remember the kid who got away with everything in high school because he could run, pass, make a jump shot, kiss the cheerleader and rescue the math teachers cat all at the same time.

Remember that guy? well I do.

Clint Boyer reminds me of that guy, he never does anything wrong, the boys in the broadcast booth never call him out on anything. Clint Boyer loves to play hard but as soon as you go after him he acts like a victim.

Here is a famous quote from Clint Bowyer incident with Jeff Gordon during last years Phoenix race:

"........what did I do I just barely accidentally touched him..."

You got to be kidding me, he just got done pounding Jeff Gordon into the wall and now he wants to act like an alter boy, this guy would make a great used car salesman, we can all agree on that.

This scenario has repeated multiple times with other drivers, I think most of them have figured out his gig.

Just saying.

Looking forward to see how Wonder boy/Captain America acts when he is around Jeff Gordon, Clint has not forgotten that he might of had a chance at a championship.

Enough said.

Same could be said for Jeff Gordon (especially early in his career), Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, and others. Welcome to NASCAR where everyone is right and the other guys are wrong.

Exactly.......Edwards, Stewart, Harvick, Kurt Busch, and Hamlin also belong on this list.
And they ALL have learned to apologize when they think they are wrong....

Bowyer is no worse than anyone else and the times I have seen him being "bullyish" have been when he was pushed beyond tolerance.....as has happened to ALL drivers.

Go BOWYER Go !!!

Jeff Gordon was just being the whiney little bitch that he naturally is last season, no big surprise. Bowyer goes for the win with a little bump from Ryan Newman while the Hendrick golden boys were holding up the rest of the field on old tires, and the Hendrick boys spin out, they cry and cry, when they know damn well that they and their crews were to blame for staying out on 100 lap tires when the rest of the field have fresh tires.

Then Jeff Gordon tries to wreck Bowyer at Phoenix, instead he wrecks himself, cries a little bit, takes out Bowyer and collects Logano and Almirola, and claims he's the victim. And to top it off, Gordon cowers behind his crew when Bowyer comes looking for him.

Bowyer did nothing wrong last season. Gordon has always been, currently is and always will be the biggest bitch in NASCAR history.

He pushes Matt Kenseth, and keeps his helmet on. He always sounds like he's about to cry, and it's even more exaggerated when things aren't going his way.

NASCAR will be a lot better off when this woman trapped in a "man's" body finally retires.

At least the others everyone is mentioning(except maybe Kyle Busch) don't run away from confrontations after the race is over.

Not the biggest Bowyer fan.. he just comes off rather smug and arrogant.. but I guess you need that as a driver.. he's no different than other drivers.. he just displays it in a more different manner than others

I agree that Bowyer did nothing wrong last season.....ALL drivers get aggressive, especially if a win is at hand....I would do the same thing.

Being an aggressive driver is not the same thing as being a bully.

I would argue that they are getting more aggressive compared to the driving style over the past 10 years. Brad K., at Texas last fall, tried to make his car as wide as possible keeping JJ from his preferred line, even running him up the track a little bit. And that was declared "inappropriate" and that he was "going to get someone killed" by driving like that.

There is an entire generation of drivers who have been brought up with the mentality that any contact or damage to the car completely destroys it aerodynamically. Now a new generation of drivers are coming up who are either more willing to use the chrome horn, or won't accept the status quo and are starting to get aggressive and move other cars out of the way where/when appropriate. Unfortunately I have a feeling the New Gen 6 car will be a throwback to the 90's when any little scratch, bump, or damage will kill the car.

Raistwalker, somefolks are already saying this car is dead on arrival.....the first two races were terrible.......yesterday was a joke...no one could pass anybody........this car will need lots of changes or is going to be a long boring season....

Agree with most of that.

I don't think Bowyer is a bully. It's just racin "fire in the belly" and a strong desire to win. My driver is Carl and he has shown worse bad attitude on the track sometimes, but I would not peg him as a bully either. They got to push to win. Bein polite and considerate is not goin to get them across the finish line first. And that is what they are all there for.
