Wow! What a game between Pittsburgh and Montreal last night. 52 seconds into overtime, Brandon Sutter scored to give Pittsburgh the 7-6 victory. At one point in the third period, the Penguins led 4-2. However, the Canadiens score two unanswered goals to tie it up. Then, the most exciting part of the game began. Both team started scoring left and right. Washington defeated Winnipeg yesterday afternoon 3-0. I managed to catch some exhibition baseball yesterday too. My Blue Jays hammered Philadelphia 11-6. I got injury news to pass along. St. Louis's Rafael Furcal will cease all baseball activity indefinitely due to an inflamed right elbow ligament. Baltimore's Nick Markakis was out of today's lineup due to neck spasms. Miami's Placido Polanco will get at two day rest due to a mild back tightness. Another Milwaukee player is injured. Aramis Ramirez is on the disabled list after straining his left knee yesterday. Chicago Cubs Starlin Castro won't back in action until mid-next week after a MRI revealed a mild left hamstring inflammation. Finally, Michael Thompson leads The Honda Classic by two strokes (-9) after nine holes in the final round.
