The Los Angeles Lakers had their greatest come back of the season. down by 21 in the third quarter rally in the fourth for a dramatic win over the P Birds of New Orleans 108 to 102. Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant had double-doubles. Dwight had 20 points 15 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Kobe had 42 points and 12 assists. Jody Meeks was the man in the second half, had 19 points. The Lakers come home back at 500 with a 31-31 record and only a game and a half out of the eighth playoff spot. The Lakers have a date with the Toronto Raptors Friday night. Every game is big for the Lakers. Utah and Houston have big games Friday as well. A win by the Lakers and loses by Houston and Utah makes the run for the playoff very interesting. But what's real interesting are the BASKETBALL MIND FREEZE RUMORS! BIG GAME JAMES WORTHY slips a disk in his back doing cartwheels after the come back win. He was heard saying now that's a Show Time win baby! Kurt Rambis and AC Green was seen at a macabre souvenir auction bidding on the only Charles Barkley butt bra in existence. D'Antoni Was seen at LAX with a big smile and was heard saying Miami might have King James and Harlem Shuffle but I got Kobe The Mamba King Bryant, Dwight The D Warrior Howard, Professor Nash and the LA Stomp! Playoffs hear we come! TOTAL BASKETBALL MIND FREEZE!

Great win for the Lakers, but a horrible loss for New Orleans, that kind of game can shut a team down for the rest of the year.
