11:04 PM ET 02.08 | I know, I know, another soccer popularity in America blog. Suck it up and listen here. We are getting no American kids to play soccer because they are given a choice at a young age: soccer or football? They are both played at the same time, so you can't do both! Of course, the kid will pick football, America's game, the greatest sport in American history! Soccer gets the weird kids who chose against football. If young kids would play soccer in a season that started in, say, May, than more kids would say why not and play. Then, some of them will get hooked and play. Some of the undiscovered talent that wouldve chosen football will be discovered on the soccer field. Our American team will be represented well, attracting MORE followers! Soon enough, America loves soccer. Soccer is a great sport, I play it but dont follow it. The whole world thinks it is great. I am sure we would too, if we werent distracted by OUR football..........
