         Rose's return has been expected since December. Everyone has been going crazy about his return. In fact, his new commercial came out before the season started (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtj-D8HT9BY).

          However, the question remains. Will his return be good for the Bulls? The Bulls have a record of 35-29, which is good enough for 5^th place in the East. Will Rose's return move them up or down?

          Kirk Hinrich and the Bulls have the 3^rd best opponent's points per game average in the league. Derrick Rose isn't the greatest defender. Will his average defense affect the Bulls? Let's look at the past two years when he played. In 2011 (Rose's MVP year) the Bulls had the 2^nd best opponent's points per game average in the league. The following year, they had the best opponent's points per game average in the league. This obviously shows that the Bulls defense will not falter.

          The Bulls offense will also be affected by Rose's return. This year the Bulls have the 29^th best PPG average as a team. In 2011, they had the 20^th best. In 2012, they had the 18^th best. Again, this shows the Bulls do better with Rose.

          If Rose isn't the same as he used to be, then he might mess up the Bulls chemistry. But still, can Rose really make the Bulls offense fall to the last in the league? Also, can he make the Bulls defense falter a lot? I don't think so.

          In conclusion if Derrick Rose returns this year, the Bulls will do a lot better. I am willing to say that they will rise to number 3 or 4, if Rose returns soon enough.
