06:11 PM ET 03.21 | My Leafs have finally snapped their five game losing streak by beating the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-2 last night. Leaf's forward, Nazem Kadri got three assists. There was some bad news for both the Leaf's and the Lightning after the game. Joffrey Lupul of the Maple Leafs was suspended for a head shot he gave Lightning forward, Victor Hedman. Lightning's starting goal tender, Anders Lindback sustained a right ankle sprain during the game and is out indefinitely. I also watched the Minnesota/Detroit game. The Wild won 4-2. Carolina have activated Tuomo Ruutu from the I.R., placed Joe Corvo on the I.R., and claimed Zach Boychuk off waivers. Now to baseball. Hanley Ramirez of the Los Angeles Dodgers will be out two months as he will require surgery to repair a torn right thumb ligament. Cleveland has optioned Trevor Bauer and Corey Kluber to Triple-A today. Justin Rose leads the Arnold Palmer Invitational by one stroke (-7) after one round.
