It's undeniable this is a sad day for Juan Pablo Montoya's fans. Today's performance at Martinsville is validation of sorts as to why he should get out of NASCAR or get to an organization that will serve him better.
I'm not saying is all Chip Ganassi's fault, Montoya has a lot to do with performance, after all he does drive the car, but we all can agree that Earnhard-Ganassi Racing is not a top tier NASCAR team.
There are no more excuses, this has come to the point where it doesn't matter who is at fault, is irrelevant, the last three years are a testament that this is just not working out.
Juan Pablo Montoya needs to move on to Indy or Grand-Am. I hope I'm wrong but I don't believe that his seven year NASCAR resume will get him a top ride in cup, there is just too many young guns available that will work for ice cream and a lifetime subscription to i-tunes.
I understand there will be some JPM fans who will rip me for those statements, but lets be honest my dear friends, running in the back sucking gas in a second hand car is not where a driver of Montoya's stature should be.
Maybe he could find a good ride in another series and finish off his career the way he started it -you know- WINNING. I just hope is not with Chip Ganassi.
As always this is just a fans opinion and from what I understand everybody has one and I'm thankful for that.
