The Los Angeles Lakers look to win their first back to back game of the season on the last back to back game of the season. The LakeShow rolls into Portland for another must win game Wednesday evening. After beating the "P Birds" of New Orleans 104 to 96, a win against Portland will keep the Lakers 1/2 game up over the Utah Jazz in the 8th playoff spot. The "Mamba King" Kobe Bryant went to work in the 4th quarter, had 30 points in the game. "El Ca-Bong" Pau Gasol had a double-double 22 points and 11 rebounds. The "D Warrior" Dwight Howard was in foul trouble in the third had 19 points. The "Metta Man" World Peace got playing time 12 day after surgery and had 4 points. One thing that surprised me was as aggressive as Earl Clark played against the P Birds he had no points. The Lakers get to the playoffs if they win the rest of their games. The big three of Howard, Gasol, and Bryant Need double digit efforts on the offensive side, and Howard needs to control the paint on the defensive side. Lets see what Lakers team shows up Wednesday.
