After watching game two of the Eastern Conference final the other night, I truly believe that Boston could very well win the cup. The Bruins man handled Pittsburgh by defeating the Penguins 6-1. David Krejci recorded his 20th point of the playoffs. As I write this blog, Boston is winning 1-0 in game three with the second period coming up. Last night, Los Angeles got a much needed win to cut Chicago's series lead in half. The Kings won by a score of 3-1. Chicago's Duncan Keith was suspended for one game today for high sticking Jeff Carter in last night's game. Colorado has signed Patrick Bordeleau to a three-year contract. Scott Nichol announced his retirement today and will take a job with Nashville as director of player development. Now to baseball. My Blue Jays lost to San Francisco last night 2-1. Washington's Stephen Strasbergh was placed on the 15 day D.L. with a lat strain. Cincinnati's Johnny Cueto was placed on the 15 day D.L. with a strained right forearm. Chicago White Sox's Jake Peavy will be out four to six weeks with a rib fracture. Pittsburgh's Wandy Rodriguez left today's game after 14 pitches with tightness in left his forearm.
