It was a slow news day at Pocono, rain canceled practice and qualifying, so the media boys and girls decided to bring back an old story.
The Juan Pablo Montoya vs. Jimmie Johnson restart at Dover.
There was no lack of willing participants, specially Jimmie Johnson, who apparently can't get over the fact he might of been snookered into taking off like a bat out of hell while Juan Pablo laid back and became the default leader after Mr. Johnson got black flagged.
Through out the week Jimmie Johnson has been trying to justify his mistake by blaming NASCAR's rule book, he believes the restart guidelines aren't clear enough, my goodness, Mr. Five Times is so passionate about this that I get a feeling he wants NASCAR to open a full investigation over this rule.
Good luck with that Jimmie.
I have a feeling this is more about Mr. Five Times wounded ego than anything else, at least he should find solace in the fact he got snookered by a very successful driver in the most back-stabbing, cut-throat series in the world, Formula 1, in that series they cut your guts out out and re-gift them as your birthday present with a smile in their faces.
Jimmie Johnson should just stop it, he is beginning to sound like a cry baby and that's unworthy of a great champion. Is over, move on Mr. Five times. Just saying.
As always this is just a fans opinion and from what I understand everybody has one and I thankful for that.
