Gearing up for tonight's Game 7 of the NBA Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich sat down at a press conference with a group of reporters to expound on a number of different topics. Following is a transcript:
Reporter: So coach Popovich, who do you think will win Game 7 tonight?
Pop. The team that wins.
Reporter: What did you say to your team to get ready for tonight's game?
Pop: Get ready
Reporter: Do you plan to play Tim Duncan more or less than he played in Game 6?
Pop: More or less I'm not sure.
Reporter: You never seem to have much to say when we ask you questions at these press conferences.
Pop: What did you say?
Reporter: Why don't you tell us much?
Pop: Why ask why?
Reporter: We have jobs to do as reporters.
Reporter: If you win your fifth NBA title tonight, will you retire?
Pop: Will you?
Reporter: What do you do as a hobby?
Pop: Inspirational speaker
Reporter: Have you always been a man of few words?
Pop: Have you always asked this many questions?
Reporter: Don't you care about reporters who want to know more about what you're thinking?
Pop: Care is a strong word.
Reporter: If you could have one wish in life, what would it be?
Pop: To wish upon a star
Reporter: What one change in your life would make you very happy?
Pop: More press interviews.
Reporter: When you give us so many one word answers, it's tough for us to do much with that in writing our stories?
Pop: Life is tough.
Reporter: I saw on the Spurs home page that you attended University of Denver. Why?
Pop: I ski.
Reporter: What did you study?
Reporter: What's your favorite book?

Reporter: If the Spurs win the title, will you go out and have a beer?
Pop: Will you?

Pop: Only if you go with me.
