I know what everybody says about the North Carolina and Duke rivalry but I just dont get it. I mean I know that they are always top teams in basketball and stuff like that. It seems like Duke always wins. I mean come on we all know Ohio State and Michigan is the best rivalry ever in college football maybe North Carolina and Duke is the best rivalry in college basketball but I just dont get it.

You don't get it because you haven't watched their rivalry over the past.. 20 years. They have the most intense, competitive games of anyone in college basketball.. Try watching a few games? The fact is no matter how much one team is ranked over the other, when they meet both teams play their hearts out and its always an instant classic.

What do you mean, 20 years?? Hell, this has gone on for as long as these two have PLAYED basketball!!!
It's a blood feud, just like the Skins and the Cowturds (but not ANYTHING like the Yankees-Red Sox). There's NO middle ground here; you gotta pick one or the other.
Listen, UVA-UNC is a big deal for us Wahoo fans...but that don't hold a candle to UNC-Duke. NOTHING does in college basketball.
