Here is a quote from an old article I found from the F1 days:

"Aggression can either make or break a Formula One racer. For Juan Pablo Montoya this trait did both. Known for his livewire driving style and rough handling of his car....."

That guy has to race Sunday! Enough of that careful crap, race hard take chances and the hell with everybody, I see week in and out other drivers give Juan nothing.

Juan Pablo does not need a good top ten, top five or a  good points race, those days have passed, Juan needs to win. Period.

Sunday at Indianapolis might be a defining moment for JPM, he is at a crossroads of his NASCAR racing career.

I say that because these days a team can hire an eighteen year old to run mid twenties for half the money, and maybe throw in a bonus, you know like  the newest video console or unlimited I-tunes downloads.

Here is a quote that came up this weekend from Juan Pablo: " I want to (strong language) succed in this I'm tired of sucking"  It's been a long time since JPM has express that level of frustration. The last few years he appeared to have that -QUE SERA SERA - attitude.

Could Juan Pablo Montoya be feeling the pressure of knowing that he may be rideless next year?

I hope he is.

Big time players come up big when they feel pressure. There are many good drivers without a ride and most of them are well liked by the NASCAR community, if Chip dicides to go in another direction is going to hard for Juan to land a ride unless he bring a big time sponsor, Danica style.

Juan Pablo Montoya is a great driver, the man can drive anything so I can't pin all the poor performances on him, Chip Ganassi's team had a lot to do with it, we can all agree that if JPM was in a Hendrick or Gibbs team his NASCAR career would of looked totally different.

He needs to win Sunday, he needs to save NOTHING, he needs to punt half of the field if he has to, he needs to become the Juan Pablo Montoya that his old fans know and love.

Give them hell Monty, give them war!

Enough said.

JPM is horrible, he might could drive an open wheel car, but he floundered once he started racing with the big boys in NASCAR where the real talent goes in racing.

He should be rideless next season, it will cut the amount of cautions in half.

JPM has never showed me anything in Nascar.. good road course racer.. but other than that.. he's a middle of the pack driver who is lucky that he has an owner that is loyal to him.. but its time for Chip to give this guy the boot

At this point I would even question his road racing ability in NASCAR. He was good the first couple of years, but has since dropped off to the point that he's running the road races like he runs the ovals!

I hope chip does...I guess you are one of the fans that bought the kool aid ..you know that anybody besides Hedrick, Gibbs, Roush, Childress can be a consistent top ten...look for an upcoming article on those stats I was stunned...

This is nothing about ability this is about money and speed only a few teams can afford it,,,NASCAR needs to even the score or very soon they will be back racing in the hill of North Carolina running moonshine to pay for tires...can't yse Indy as an example but look at the rest of the races ...just look at then empty stands, that tells you the whole story. Maybe going back to dirt in smaller venues might be a way to help the sport..

I'm not a Jr fan. I hate anything Rick Hendrick.

There's two drivers that I pull for, Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart. And 3 more that I somewhat like, Paul Menard, Jeff Burton and Kurt Busch.

The rest I'm either neutral or I generally hate.

I really don't have a clear cut 'favorite' team or driver.. on almost every team I have a driver I like or dislike.. just want to see 'good racing'.. which is rare in Nascar these days.. and I always show up with some Kool-Aid.. of course mine has an extra 'kick' to it

You're really hard to please if you haven't thought this season has been great in terms of quality of races. Other than the Daytona 500 the races have been great.

I must be.. I have found if you watch the 1st 20 laps & last 20 laps.. you've pretty much watched the entire race.. IMO ost races have been snooze-fests.. like Indy today

Sounds to me like you're just looking for a reason to bitch.

This has been the most exciting NASCAR season since Dale Sr died.

I'm happy Newman won. It was apparent that Harvick and Stewart had no chance, and then I became an "anyone but JJ" fan.

The car was fine, the driver was junk as usual.
