Well, well, well. Major League Baseball suspended Alex Rodriguez for 211 games and 12 others for 50 for being involved in the Biogenises scandal. In a press conference, Rodriguez told members of the media he was disappointed in the decision. I think he got what he deserved. Normally, I would be calling for a life suspension, but not this time. When or if (Rodriguez plans to appeal and will continue to play ball in the meantime) he serves his suspension, by the time it's over, he'll be 40 years-old. What gets me is Rodriguez told a CNN reporter recently that he loves the game of baseball. Yeah, right Alex! I wonder if you would've love playing Major League Baseball if their wasn't a multi-million dollar check waiting for you. Nelson Cruz of the Rangers and Jhonny Peraltra of the Tigers were two of the 12 players suspended for 50 games. Cruz has accepted his suspension. Toronto's Melky Cabrera, Oakland's Bartolo Colon, and Yasmani Grandal were not disciplined because they were suspended last year. Cabrera was suspended last season for 50 games for testing positive for high levels of testosterone.

He's refusing to accept responsibility for his actions. I think since he's A-Rod, he thinks he's above anyone else who got caught. He refused all the deals offerred to him. He's going down and he'll be remembered as a doper and a cheater. His career is forever tarnished.

And another thing, if he's as big into this as they say he is, he deserves the same punishment as Pete Rose....banned forever.

I couldn't agree more.
