I said at the beginning of Syracuse's season, "We better not finish off the same way as last year."  Well, it seems like the Orange is headed in the same path, unless they can scarf a few wins at home in the rest of their Big East schedule.  After tonight's 89-78 loss to USF, the Big East's worst team, SU will play Georgetown in the Dome on Saturday.  I was at the G-town game in Syracuse last year, and it was one of the most exciting games I've ever watched as a Syracuse fan.

If we could pull Gerry McNamara out of his struggles to find a home in proffessional basketball, we could have a long shot at winning the Big East Tournament.  Since that can't happen, the 'Cuse needs a couple wins out of their last six Big East games against Georgetown, Louisville, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Seton Hall, and Marquette--four are in ESPN'S top 25.

With an inexperienced crew of just 7 scholarship players, someone would have to really step up to muster up some early March magic.
