Here's A surprise. Teemu Selanne has decided to give it a go for one more year. This is very mind boggling when you consider he only recorded 24 points in 46 games in 2013. Yes, I know it was a shortened season and the Ducks did make it to the playoffs. I'm perfectly aware of those two facts, but how long can Selanne keep up with the young players in the league. Reports are saying that Selanne has stated this will be his final season. The thing that puzzles me is what does Selanne need to prove? He already has a Stanley Cup ring, The only answer I can come up with is maybe Selanne is gunning for a gold medal at the Olympics with Team Finland in Russia. Of course, he has to make the team first and at his age there is no guarantee.
