What do you think the Cowboys should do to obtain that 1st pick or if they should even try to get that pick. I would love to see to see McFadden in a Cowboys uniform, but not at the expense of Marion Barber III and both of the 1st round picks. Julius Jones would get his walking paper if I were running the show. He hasn't lived up to the hype that he predicted a few years ago. He once said that his goal was 1600 yards and in four seasons he has only hit 1000 once. He doesn't running with a purpose unlike Barber. This guy is a beast and if the Cowboys package him with the two 1st round picks I will be really disappointed. Just think the Cowboys helped Buffalo waste a 1st round pick on J.P. Losman and we were looking Steven Jackson dead in the face. They are known for making some bad decisions on Draft Day. Think back Greg Ellis over Randy Moss. They drafted a special teams player in the 1st round with the 17th pick in Bobby Carpenter. Back to the point at hand; yes I would love to see that BEAST from Arkansas on the team, but I also think we should keep the two first rounders and grab Mario Manningham, Limas Sweed, or Desean Jackson with the #22 pick and look at Felix Jones or Rashard Mendenhall with #28 pick. It only makes sense to add some youth to that wide reciever corp. Let the dead weight (J. Jones) go and grab one of the two backs that I have previously mentioned. Tell me that it would not make a difference. The rest of the draft in my eyes after the 1st round would strictly be defense and throw in an O-lineman somewhere, just in the event they let Flozell Adams go.

I agree with you...I think the best place for a guy like Felix Jones would be Dallas or a place with an already established running back because Jones didn't have to be the man in college...so great fit for the Cowboys

The Cowboys are sitting in the 2nd best postion of any team for draft day. We do not have to draft anything, yet have 2 first round picks and team talent is on our side. We will not part with the Barbarion and still may end up with the GAME CHANGER Jones or McFadden! Fans can say what they want but Jerry Jones has 3 Super Bowl rings in his time of ownership and the so called drought is getting much closer to ending. McFadden would be one hell of an " America's Team Gladitor " in the new Roman Collisum of a stadium in 2009! Draft should be fun!! How bout these Cowboys!! Search for 6!!

The cowboys do not need Mcfadden. They need another receiver, and they have to sure up the defensive secondary. Those are the 2 needs with the 1st round picks. However if Felix Jones is available I think he would be a good fit. Cant wait till next season.

If Jerry Jones has to satisfy his Razorback addiction then draft Felix Jones at number 22. Let Julius Jones go and then have a two back system with the workhorse (Barber) and the flash (F. Jones).

Felix Jones is not a good idea. He ran a 4.47 at the combine which was slower than expected, and he is not a good blocker. Andd it certainly doesnt help taht he only did 8 bench press reps at tthe combine. I would rather see a guy like Chris Johson, who is faster, and a better reciever out of the backfield than Felix Jones. I wouldnt mind Jones in the second round, but certainly not the first.
