While Evansville isnt the best team in the MVC to any stretch, this was a big win for Missouri St. Who hasnt been playing to their potential lately.
Our defense was steller throughout the entire game, holding Evansville to only 38 points while making them turnover 21 times. Offense shared the ball well and got the open shot on most possesions. Deven Mitchell lead all scorers with 14 points.
This game was a big momentum builder. MSU now goes 6-9 in the MVC and possibly still has some life to make a late push for a good conference tourney seed... then, anything can happen.
