One blog: the first Slam Dunk Contest Winner

The next: The most recent Slam Dunk Contest Winner

The Final Round

Gerald Green First Dunk- In his first dunk, which was probably his best, Gerald got an oop over the back board from Rashad McCants, and Gerald grabbed the ball with two hands, pushed the ball with his left hand through his legs, and dunked it with his right hand.

Dwight Howard First Dunk- This was just sick. Dwight ooped it to himself, grabbed the ball with both hands, threw it against the backboard with his left hand, then dunked it with his right. Commentator: "I've only seen that on video games!... I haven't even seen that on video games!"

Gerald Green Second Dunk- This was pretty good. Not very origanal, but it was okay. Gerald signed his shoes, took them off, handed them to the judges, then went up and went between the legs and dunked it. No shoe between the leg dunk. It was okay, but he could have done better.

Dwight Howard Second Dunk- This was almost as good as the first. He brought out a mini goal that little kids hang on their door, hung it on the bottom- left corner of the goal and laid a regulation-size ball on the mini goal. He grabbed the ball of the mini goal, and wind-mill dunked it on the big goal.

The Winner

Then it was up to the fans. Dwight Howard and Gerald Green were standing next to each other. When the girl to announce it came, everyone knew who was going to win. She announced that Dwight had 70% of the vote(in actuallity, it was 78%), and that he had won. It was over. It was probably the best Slam Dunk Contest individual performance I have ever seen.
