Alright people, here it is. The All-Bust baseball team. These are the greatest busts during the last couple of years. I'm really bored,so that is the reason i'm doing this. I'm a Yankees fan, so I know a thing or two about busts.
Catcher:Jason Kendall- he has 1 homerun in the last 3 years. His OBP. is .234 this year. How is that Moneyball method working out these days?
First Baseman: Richie Sexson-it looks like he is getting paid to strike out. He is not even trying anymore. What is wrong with the front office of the Seattle Mariners?
Second Baseman: Tony Womack-remember him? he is with the Nationals now. The Yankees signed him to a 2-year,$4 million contract. He hit .230. At least that gave Cano a shot.
Third Baseman:Adrian Beltre-he can still hit, but not as good as the Mariners thought. The past two years he has had 44 homeruns combined. He hit 48 in 2004.
Shortstop: Angel Berroa-he is not really a bust, but ever since he won the Rookie Of The Year in 2003, he has been unspeakably bad.
Outfield: Coco Crisp- his name is awesome. For the past couple of years, that has been the only thing right for him.
Rondell White-he is injured or he strikes out. One or the other.
Reggie Sanders- does anyone even care about him anymore?
Pitchers: Carl Pravano- quite possibly the biggest bust ever. Just horrible.
Victor Zambrano- when he got traded to the Mets, Rick Peterson said he could fix him in 10 minutes. Great move, Phillips.(why does Rick always wear a jacket? That has always puzzled me.)
Matt Clement- is he still playing? I'm serious.
Kevin Brown- he punched the wall. Nuff said.
P.S.-Jose Lima is the greatest pitcher ever.
If I forgot anybody, please comment.
