Oprah? Uma. Uma? Oprah.
Since we are so close to Oscar season, I only thought it would be appropriate to take us back to the 1995 show that David Letterman hosted. The infamous line above was Letterman’s way of making a joke about the first names of the two uniquely named stars. It ended up sparking a feud between Letterman and Oprah that lasted for around ten years. I bring this up because I am trying to think of a way to introduce the Anaheim Ducks to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Teemu? Yusmeiro. Yusmeiro? Teemu.
We all remember the amazing run the Arizona Diamondbacks had last season, winning an improbable amount of games in a row down the stretch, and finishing the season with a 90-72 record, despite allowing 20 more runs than they scored. The Diamondbacks may have been a talented team that found ways to win, but they had an incredible amount of luck on their side.
