What an awesome game of matchplay these two put on at the WGC. They went shot for shot putt for putt and as a golf fan (and an Australian) i was totally enthralled. Aaron Baddeley really put it to Tiger who of course responded but Badds was on him the whole day. Its games like this that keep the fans coming back. I love the matchplay format because the players mind set is completely different than strokeplay and they go for it a lot more. I dont know what the total under par was combined for these two but it was a lot and it was a good sign for Aaron whos iron play was spot on. When he won the Australian Open as a kid his ironp[lay was ridiculously good and it was when he backed it up with another win the next year.
I think Aaron's game is just getting better and better and by the end of this season i predict he will be in the world top 5, and he may just nail a Major in the next year or two!As for Tiger, well there is really nothing to say is there. The guy will go down as the greatest golfer in history and i am glad i can watch this awesome talent play.
