Tiger approaching Jordan territory

I never thought I'd see another athlete that was so far above his peers on a consistent basis, but Tiger is proving me wrong. He's earning his seat at that small and very elite table of people who have become bigger than their own sport. Both Tiger and Jordan also have that insatiable desire to win and keep winning and fend off all challengers to stay at the very top. Tiger is the ambassador of all sport right now as the single greatest active competitor of the era. But the irony of it all is that while Tiger Woods played 29 holes on Sunday, Jordan will play more than twice that much golf on his days off, with about 20x as many strokes, and most likely negative earnings.

Tiger has been in Jordon territory for quite some eime now. The guy is just absolutely astounding. THe problem is non-golfers just can not appreciate how amazing this guy really is. In fact, unless you have seen him play live, you can't even grasp it. I saw him play twice and just could not get over the pin point accuracy and the difference between the shots he made and what his contemporaries made. You would watch a whole for 4 or 5 threesomes and get a feel for how the players were approaching the particular hole and then Tiger would come through and play it totally differently because of his ability to hit the ball further and with more accuracy than anyone else.

All I could say was just....WOW!
