FanNation | The Truth has no Conscious | It sucks to be these guys right now

Hey kids, I've been thinking about a few NBA guys that used to fill it up and now are pretty much worthless...and away we go.... My first guy was full of promise as recently as 2 years ago, but now, he's on the scrap heap of free agency in most fantasy leagues-Larry Hughes...he went from a top 10 draft pick and 20+ per game scorer to around 10 a game and hella tatoos...what's the deal here? i've read that it was the cavs style of play and that he's not a spot up shooter and all that stuff...but riddle me this, if i gave you a phat money contract to play with the biggest name in the league and you had a shot (no pun intended) at a ring for the next 2-3 years of your deal, wouldn't you spend a little time in the gym working on that spot up jumper? larry lets take advantage of all that skill...don't become like the 3rd guy on this list...please.... Guy #2 man i hate to say this...Shaq...ouch, there i said it...i love shaq (not the b52s song either) and i've been a fan since his days at LSU (still got my purple and gold GAME hat from his freshman year; despite my wife's numerous attempt to throw it away hahaha), but oh how the mighty have fallen...this cat can't even get up and down the floor anymore...hard to see the most dominant big man in my lifetime reduced to a 25 min per game player that averages more reb. than points....man that bums me out....he's getting old i know that, but it's hard to take, that's all i have to say about that.... and finally #3 and the worst case out of all of them Steve (Franchise?) Francis..how do you go from yearly all star to bench warmer in less than 4 years? man i don't get this at all...remember when he was at maryland and would crush on people all the time??? now he looks like he should be on pros vs. joes, playing with spud and oak..they traded him for t-mac..then what? he went to orlando and it all just fell apart..then he goes to NYC and can't even get in the darn game...i just believe that he went south that fast, and i don't mean when he went to orlando..remember when he was on cribs and had his own line of clothes...now what? so there you go..all these guys really depress me to even think about the talent { i know shaq's old and got 4 rings-so he doesn't count} these guys are letting slip past...i'm just glad i realized years ago that 21 year old me and 32 year old me aren't going to have the same first step..at least mine was in front of guys at the Y and not on TV....
