Cincinnati Reds 2008 season

Reds fans there should be an upside to this reds baseball season with there acquisition of RP 48 Francisco Cordero and now with 25 David Weathers helping out there pitching rotation they should now be good enough to compete for a playoff spot and a winning season. With 4 Brandon Phillips hitting for a 30:30 year last year and Jr. playing his most games ever as a Red last season and hitting .277 proving that he can still hit with the younger guys they could very well post even better numbers this season. The only downfall to the Reds this season is 44 Adam Dunn  as he hit 40 home runs last year he still had 165 strike outs. If the Batting coach can get Dunn to make contact with the ball this year Dunn could very well find himself in an MVP race this season. I still don't think that the Reds made enough trades this offseason but they might have a better year with Cordero as he should make the shake pitching last year better.So Reds fans you should have a Winning season this season. So Reds fans hope Dusty Baker can pull out some magic and make this a magical year.
