ON THE IR
Sidney Crosby, C, PIT - Even though he has been on the shelf for almost six weeks now, I figured with the brand new offensive weapon that the Penguins have just acquired, this would be a good time to check on Crosby and see when he will be able to take the ice again. The injury is not expected to be serious, so expect the ironman defender to be back on the ice ASAP.
Jochen Hecht, C, BUF - Hecht has now missed three consecutive contests with a strained muscle in his groin, and may continue to miss even more time... (Read the full article here: Week 22 Frozen IR Report)
