Well, it's official Steelers Nation..... Alan Faneca (Pro-Bowl LG) has moved on to another franchise (The N.Y. Jets) after playing 10 epic seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. His presence on the offensive line will be sadly missed. Faneca was a gentleman off the field & monster headache to opposing teams... It will definately be a challenge to find a player w/ enough moxy to fill his shoes.
Reportedly, Mr. Faneca signed a 5 year 41 million deal earlier today. We wish him & his family nothing but the best... Faneca will always be considered one of the best Steelers ever to represent the Burgh...
(Maybe Chad Pennington will be just a lil bit tougher to sack.....)
