The NBA MVP votings as of now

Here is how I believe the MVP votings should go as of right now.

 1. Kobe Bryant- At this point, it HAS to be him. There has never been an MVP on a team with less than 50 wins. Sorry LeBron, but you won't reach 50. Kobe led the Lakers to second place in the insanely competetive West. This may just be a make-up vote by the voters for snubbing him all of these years. If he is close enough that it will come down to a tiebreaker of some sort, they will give it to Kobe. NO way a player of this caliber can go through his whole career without being MVP once. Kobe has a great statline 27.8 PPG 6 RPG and 5.4 APG. If thats not enough, I don't know what else the guy has to do.

2. LeBron James- 10 more wins and LeBron would've had it. Its really sad that Cleveland can't help this guy out. Don't even mention Ben Wallace. That trade was made to get rid of Hughes and his huge cap hit, NOT to help out LeBron. The Cavs were good enough on defense, but what they needed was a Scottie Pippen to help LeBron through his career. Not going to happen with Ben Wallace. If this award was best player, or most explosive player then LeBron would easily have it locked up, but when you bring his team into the equation, he takes a big hit. I believe the Cavs are 0-7 in their games without LeBron this year so that should help his case. He is a one man show and the most valuable person to any team, but the bad part about that is he is the most valuable but not valuable enough to lead his team to 50 wins. The 50 win mark for a team will absolutley kill LeBron.

3. Chris Paul- CP3 has done things this year that far exceed anyone's expectations. He is leading the HORNETS to a shot at first place in the West only down a half game to the Spurs! Seriously, it is amazing what he has done for this team. He is leading the league in steals per game with 2.7 and has 20.9 points per game 4RPG and 10.9 APG. That is incredible for a point guard. 20.9 points per game? All I can say to that is WOW! Steve Nash, your succesor came a little soon and CP3 is now without a doubt the best PG in the NBA. He is so explosive and a great ball handler. He can scale up from anywhere on the floor and can burn you with his speed. There is something truly special about this kid.

4. Dwight Howard- Howard is the best big man in the league (C). No contest any more. He has established himself this year as a dominate force down low and he is controlling the league. He has 21.6 PPG, an amazing 14.4 RPG and an insane 2.4 BPG. GREAT on defense and one of the best rebounders in the last 10 years. He is so dominate and that is what I love about him. He leads the NBA in dunks and always puts on a show for the fans. He is leading the MAGIC to 4th place in the East. Plus Dwight has played in every single one of his team's games this year and if I remember correctly I was reading somewhere that he has played in 254 straight games. The NBA iron man.

5. Kevin Garnett- KG really hurt himself by the injury. He left the favorite to win and he returns in 5th place. I don't even think there is a chance that he has enough time to work his way back up to the top, but he could get as high as 3. His team is starting to fall apart and they might not even be in first place in the East. I don't see HOW you can give it to KG when he has 2 all stars and one of the greatest 3 point shooters of all time around him and they can't even hold on to first place. KG is doing good, but that injury is really going to cost him in the end.

I agree 100% with you. Good job.

Its a tough one, Lebron keeps beating kobe head to head. Lebron is only the third player in NBA history to average 30 points,8 rebounds, 8 assists a game.EVER! Record stats like that and dominating performances on top of the fact that he leads the NBA in fourth quarter scoring, closing out games like no other, clearly has to give Lebron the edge. With all the constant major injuries to the cavs this year, they might only win 10 to 20 games with out him. Plus him being out 7 games and them losing all 7 will likely be the difference in the cavs no winning 50 or more.
