Congratulations to the Wolverines on claiming their 10th regular season CCHA hockey championship, and Kevin Porter on his nomination for the Hobey Baker Award. Michigan dominated their opponents all season long with the exception, in my opinion, of Michigan State. The Wolverines were in 1st place in the CCHA rankings for the majority of the season. MSU is the only team I really see them having a problem with in the NCAA tournament. This has been UM's most promising season in years. Am I the only one that is constantly disappointed with NCAA hockey coverage in the mainstream media? Sure you can get all the info you want on the internet (ccha.com, bigtennetwork.com, mgoblue.com, etc.), but good luck finding anything in the regular newspapers or TV. My cable system actually got the Big Ten Network this year, so I was able to see all of two Michigan hockey games. It was awesome...and I'm being serious. It's been years since I've actually seen a game on TV. Sure you can watch and listen on the web, but it's just not the same. So here's hoping the Wolverines make it to the Frozen Four, in which case maybe two more games will be televised...and on ESPN no less! Icy-Hot is too weak for Chuck Norris. After a workout he rubs down his muscles with liquid hot magma.
